Book 5 of the Psalter

The Psalter is arranged into five books, each closing with a doxology and benediction. Hebrew tradition says these five books correspond to the five books of Moses.

Book V (Psalms 107-150) begins by thanking God for bringing Israel back from exile. The book includes Psalms holding up David as a model for piety (138-145) and Psalms predicting the reign of Christ (110).
