Imprecatory Psalms

Imprecatory Psalms are Psalms that contain prayers for God’s judgment upon the enemies destroying God’s people. These Psalms teach us there is a godly anger toward sinners who are morally corrupt and hostile to God. They make us aware of God’s justice and intolerance for sin. They teach us to pour out our anger to the Lord and to wait for His promised judgment of sinners at the coming of Christ.
