Temple Songs

The Temple Songs (Psalms 65-68) are a group of four Psalms, each of which is identified by the double title, “A Psalm … A Song.” Apparently, these Psalms were used by Israel during their main feasts and were sung by faithful pilgrims after they had entered into the Temple in Jerusalem. Each Psalm contains allusions to the people of God assembled for worship.

Text adapted from 150 Questions about the Psalter by Bradley Johnston.
